With Essence Music Festival this weekend, nothing but music has been on my mind. And as you all know, you can go to just about any part of New Orleans and experience great music. In addition to the great live music you can find here, we also house some of the best DJs your ears will have the pleasure to hear. From from funk to hip hop, there’s a DJ here that fits your favorite style. When I think of emotional music experiences, I think of 4 DJs who have the power to change my mood.
There could be many reasons DJ Tony Skratchere is one of my favorites. Possibly because he is beyond amazing on the turntables. Or could it be because he could play an old school hip hop set that will have you pop locking for your life? DJ Tony Skratchere, known for his genius DJ skills and the art of scratching, has made an impact on New Orleans with iconic movements as DMC Nola.
