Hangin’ in There Alley Cat
(an all ages bike race)

In celebration and to raise money for their new space, The Community Printshop of New Orleans is holding a fun bike adventure race this Saturday. They are very excited and are currently offering OPEN SHOP hours out of their new, beautiful, air-conditioned space; but they need your help!
1. Folks will gather at 2 pm at the Sound Cafe – 2700 Chartres Street. It is $5 to enter the bike race and the entrance fee includes a hand silk-screened spoke card with your number.
2. Racers will bike like maniacs around the city discovering the next check point through performing tasks and performing outrageous actions.
3. Everyone finishes at Gerken’s Bike shop at 2803 St Claude Ave where there will be discounted beer and prizes followed by an awesome after party including:
- Art Print Auction
- Live Silk-screening
- An Unconventional Gallery Opening
- Music by The Sweet Street Orchestra and Tin Types
