On a rainy New Orleans day, I ventured over to Oak Street for some lunch! I came across Tru Burger before I made a visit to my favorite book shop, Blue Cypress. Tru Burger is a cute burger/hot dog cafe offering up some simple yet tasting choices to make your tummy full. This is a great location for a quick lunch with friends. I reccomend sitting in the window on a stool on a rainy day looking out at Oak Street, definitely a nice way to spend lunch in my opinion.
For my first visit to Tru Burger, I of course went with a burger with the Tru Sauce and fries. It was a yummy lunch treat, the Tru Sauce was awesome. The second best thing about this place is the price. You can get a nice burger or hot dog for 5 bucks. Also, milkshakes are on the menu!
