Lower 9th ward in conjunction with Lowernine.org has created a new and exciting project called Lamanche Urban Farm. Lamanche has created garden space for neighborhood growers to establish a produce stand that serves the community throughout the week. This will help provide affordable organic produce to a community underserved.
They currently have a goal of raising $4,000. Help Lamanche Community Farm; it only takes $5 or more to help.
