Jerry Moran’s Photo Installation in Whiskey Blue, Thursday!

by shercole

On Thursday, Louisiana musicians will come together for the art and the music of New Orleans! This week we all shall celebrate the photo installation in The Whiskey Blue by Jerry Moran. Jerry Moran known for his great photography focused on architecture and culture in New Orleans is definitely something not to be missed. Also, how can you miss meeting someone who hasn’t missed a single day of Jazz Fest in 25 years???

Helping him celebrate are some of my favorites such as Kermit Ruffins, “Big Sam” Williams, Big Chief Monk Boudreaux, Darryl “Dancingman” Young and more. If seeing all this greatness in one room isn’t enough, maybe the cause is.  A percentage of art and bar sales will be donated to the New Orleans Musicians Clinic, which is a local organization dedicated to helping New Orleans performers and providing resources.

Make sure to check out this great event!
