Culicurious: My Experience: Dining & Drinking in NYC

Earlier this week I posted about our experience in upstate New York. This post is dedicated to our day in New York City. We arrived via LaGuardia airport on Friday night and went straight up to Poughkeepsie. We spent all of Saturday in Upstate New York and then very early on Sunday morning we caught the train down to the city. It was a lovely train ride that ended in Grand Central station. We arrived around 8:30 am so the city was still pretty quiet.

Our first stop was for coffee at Stumptown Coffee Roasters on 29th St. I opted for a regular black coffee. It was very tasty. The roast was perfect, and the coffee was very flavorful. Of course I forgot to ask the barista what type of beans they were, my bad. Nor did I get a picture of my tasty cup. However, if you find yourself in Midtown Manhattan jonseing for a cup of coffee, I highly recommend Stumptown. It is one of the top coffee roasters/coffee houses in the country.
