Jalyn

Jalyn is from Baton Rouge, La, although she has lived between Baton Rouge and New Orleans for the last seven years. Jalyn attends The University of New Orleans, majoring in Anthropology with a minor in African American Studies. A vegetarian minimalist, Jalyn is dedicated to finding & cultivating the simple things in a very busy world. Jalyn hopes through her Shop Local column she can show it’s not only possible, but fulfilling to support local & small businesses instead of always patronizing “the big guys.”
